Welcome to LabourPoint.in, a digital platform designed to connect labour workers (majdoors) with employers, contractors, and business owners looking for manpower across India.
By using or accessing Labourpoint.in (“the Website” or “the Platform”), you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree with any of these terms, you must immediately stop using this website.
LabourPoint.in is owned and operated by LOCKERSADDA , a GST-registered firm engaged in providing online business, recruitment, and marketplace solutions.
LabourPoint acts only as a digital job-matching platform and is not a trade union, labour association, or government employment agency.
2. DEFINITIONS
For clarity in these Terms:
- “Platform” or “Website” refers to LabourPoint.in.
- “Worker” or “Majdoor” means any individual who registers to find job opportunities.
- “Employer” or “Contractor” refers to any company, person, or organization that registers to hire workers.
- “User” collectively refers to both Workers and Employers.
- “Operator” means LOCKERSADDA, the legal entity running Labourpoint.in
3. NATURE OF SERVICE
LabourPoint.in provides:
- A platform for workers to register, list their skills, location, and experience.
- A platform for employers to search, browse, and contact available workers.
- The service helps connect both parties but does not act as an employment agent or intermediary in the hiring process.
Important Notice:
Labourpoint.in does not guarantee employment, wages, job security, or verification of worker identity. It only facilitates the connection.
4. REGISTRATION & ACCOUNT CREATION
- Eligibility:
- Workers must be 18 years or older.
- Employers must be legally capable of entering into contracts.
- Registration Process:
- Users must fill in accurate details during signup.
- Duplicate, fake, or misleading profiles are strictly prohibited.
- Each user is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- Account Usage:
- You agree to use your account only for legitimate purposes related to job search or hiring.
- LabourPoint reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account for misuse, fraud, or policy violation.
5. EMPLOYER PACKAGES & PAYMENT TERMS
- Free Trial Package:
- On first-time registration, employers receive a one-time free package that allows limited access to worker contact details.
- After using this trial, continued access requires a paid subscription.
- Paid Packages:
- Employers can purchase subscription plans as per their hiring needs.
- Packages are available for different durations or contact limits.
- Payment must be made online through approved payment gateways.
- Validity & Renewal:
- Packages are valid only for the duration mentioned at the time of purchase.
- Renewal requires new payment and agreement to current terms.
- Non-transferable:
- Packages are non-transferable between users or accounts.
6. WORKER (MAJDOOR) REGISTRATION POLICY
- Workers can register and maintain their profile free of cost.
- Workers must provide genuine details like name, age, experience, skill type, and contact number.
- Workers cannot demand money, advance, or commission from employers using the platform.
- Any false claim, harassment, or misuse will result in permanent ban of profile.
7. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users shall not:
- Upload false, defamatory, or misleading information.
- Use the platform for unlawful activities or fraud.
- Post or share obscene or discriminatory content.
- Collect or sell data of other users.
- Impersonate another person or organization.
Violation of these terms may lead to legal action under Indian law (including IT Act, 2000).
8. RESPONSIBILITIES OF USERS
(A) Employers:
- Must verify the worker’s background before hiring.
- Are responsible for providing lawful working conditions, payments, and safety.
- Cannot misuse worker data for advertising or spamming.
(B) Workers:
- Must behave professionally and honestly during recruitment.
- Should not misuse employer contact details or share fake profiles.
- Are responsible for attending jobs or interviews agreed upon.
Labourpoint only facilitates contact — it is not liable for any employment disputes or payments.
9. DATA & PRIVACY
- User data is stored securely and processed according to our Privacy Policy.
- Personal contact information is shared only between verified employers and registered workers.
- Labourpoint may use anonymized data for analytics and improving services.
10. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
- Once a paid package is activated, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, except in cases of technical failure caused by LabourPoint.
- Any approved refund will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Users must contact info@labourpoint.in for refund-related issues.
11. PLATFORM RIGHTS
- LabourPoint may add, modify, or remove features at any time without prior notice.
- The Operator may change pricing, plans, or terms periodically.
- Continued use after updates implies acceptance of the revised terms.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- LabourPoint acts only as an online intermediary for job connections.
- The platform is not responsible for employment outcomes, payment disputes, workplace injuries, or fraudulent activities between users.
- Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.
13. TERMINATION OF ACCOUNT
LabourPoint reserves the right to:
- Suspend or permanently delete accounts violating these Terms.
- Deny access to users engaging in fraudulent, illegal, or unethical behavior.
- Retain basic registration information for compliance and record-keeping.
14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- All content on LabourPoint (logo, text, design, graphics, etc.) is owned by LOCKERSADDA.
- Unauthorized use, copying, or redistribution of the platform content is prohibited.
15. DISCLAIMER
LabourPoint is a private digital job portal and not connected with any government body, trade union, or political organization.
It provides job connection facilities only.
All hiring, salary, and employment conditions are between the employer and worker directly.
16. INDEMNIFICATION
Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless LabourPoint and LOCKERSADDA from any loss, claim, damage, or expense arising out of:
- Violation of these Terms
- Misuse of the platform
- Any dispute between employer and worker
17. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, or where the operator’s registered office is located.
